Taming The Temple has been designed to encourage the nurturing of a strong spirit, a peaceful soul and a healthy body through the straightforward application of Biblical truths. One important Biblical truth, often ignored, is that we are a spirit, we possess a soul and we live in a body
(1 Thessalonians 5:23). It emphasizes the need of harmony within man so that every person can complete their Divine destiny. Its practical, spiritual thinking that is out the box but in the Book.

Not Doubting God

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness:only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
-Martin Luther King Jr.

From December 27, 2013 while on my yoga mat during my Christian yoga practice
"I will not doubt in the darkness what God has shown me in the light."
"I will not charge God with "Ill will"".
"I will not be contemptuous toward the Lord".

I heard the Lord say,"When I am silent...remember...I am never absent. I am still working".

Saying theses words over and over again brought great solace to my heart and mind.
It seemed the enemy came from out of nowhere to fill my heart with doubt about the journey and the fulfillment of promise.
I HAVE LEARNED YOU CAN NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH A TEMPTATION UNLESS HE IS AN AFRICAN AMERICAN AND SINGS WITH A FAMOUS GROUP
Other wise we must be prepared for temptations
I resolved in my heart to stand steadfast, immovable always abounding in the Lord....at least for today ;-)
I also remember the children of Israel in the desert whom God said that they treated Him with contempt.

Sometimes it feels you are in the darkest of night...remember Christian in the Pilgrim's Progress...When I see the movie I could not image going through something like that and yet I am sure if others new what I had to deal with they would say the same thing

That is why it is so important NOT TO JUDGE PEOPLE BUT TO DISCERN.
Judging is forming an opinion or conclusion about something.
Discerning is to perceive or recognize (something).
It comes from 2 words dis = apart
and cernere = to separate
When we discern we are able to separate what we see with our natural eyes form what lies beneath the surface - the TRUTH.

In His Service,
Lisa Renee'
